Growing up in Central Pennsylvania in a German and Irish family, I am inextricably linked to the coal mines. I have always had an interest in exploring this heritage in my art.
Few images are more evocative to me than the Brooklyn Bridge. It symbolizes so much of what I believe America was and is.
